During this holiday season of gratitude, we would like to take the time to recognize people in our community who continuously give back to our schools. We have a great team of adults who dedicate their time and resources to ensure that our students here at Williamsburg never go without the things they need. Whether these adults help out by feeding our kids after school, work to ensure our athletic fields are ready for competitions, or give rides to and from after school activities, we are so incredibly thankful for their partnership and the examples they set as community leaders.
This year, our high school student council has decided that we would like to recognize just a few of these individuals that so regularly support our schools. Our student council has created the first ever, Wildcat Way Award. Students in grades 9 - 12 have taken the time to nominate adults they feel like embody the following criteria needed for this award:
An adult who gives back to our school, community and students
An adult who inspires students to be their best selves
An adult who takes pride in being a Wildcat
We received countless nominations this year and have decided to honor 12 individuals who were nominated most often.
