WES Book Vending Machine
In an exciting new development for students at Williamsburg Elementary School, a brand-new book vending machine has been installed in the school, offering students the chance to “purchase” books with Cat Coins earned through the school’s PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) program. The machine is already creating a buzz among students, sparking both excitement and motivation to earn more Cat Coins.

The vending machine, which features a wide selection of age-appropriate books, offers a fun and unique way for students to engage with reading. The initiative is part of WES’s ongoing efforts to promote positive behavior, enhance student learning, and foster a love of reading.

“We’re really proud of the way the students have embraced the vending machine,” said Mrs. Schunk, a paraprofessional teacher at the school. “It’s a great way to keep them engaged and excited about reading, and it ties in so nicely with our PBIS goals.”

The school is planning to keep the machine stocked with fresh books throughout the year, giving students plenty of opportunities to earn rewards and continue their reading journeys.

WAY TO GO WES!
