Student Council's mission is to create the strongest, most involved and active school community. It works to enhance student life, build school spirit and pride, strengthen the overall school and contribute to charitable causes and to the community. Independently and in collaboration with various school groups: it initiates, sponsors and directs school and social events, activities, campaigns, and programs from the student perspective. Annually it strives to create both a fun and memorable school year and to ultimately leave a legacy for future councils to build upon. As the elected student leadership of the school, it works to represent the concerns and opinions of the Student Body to the school, the community, and to school administration.

Prom Committee is an organization you can join in your Junior year. It is the committee that puts on the Junior-Senior Prom. They raise money to buy the decorations, everything for the crowning ceremony and take care of paying for the venue and everything that goes with it. There are many ways that we make our money. This can be done by selling T-Shirts, carnations, Scentsy, having dances, and fundraisers through different establishments.

The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.
Scholarship: Students who have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 meet the scholarship requirement for membership. These students are then eligible for consideration on the basis of service, leadership, and character.

Service: This quality is defined through the voluntary contributions made by a student to the school or community, done without compensation and with a positive, courteous, and enthusiastic spirit.

Leadership: Student leaders are those who are resourceful, good problem solvers, promoters of school activities, idea-contributors, dependable, and persons who exemplify positive attitudes about life. Leadership experiences can be drawn from school or community activities while working with or for others.

Character: The student of good character upholds principles of morality and ethics, is cooperative, demonstrates high standards of honesty and reliability, shows courtesy, concern, and respect for others, and generally maintains a good and clean lifestyle.

Citizenship: The student who demonstrates citizenship understands the importance of civic involvement, has a high regard for freedom, justice, and democracy, and demonstrates mature participation and responsibility through involvement with such activities as scouting, community organizations, and school clubs.

The Williamsburg Teens Against Bullying (TAB) program works hard to prevent bullying within our school. Each week, high school TAB leaders deliver classroom lessons to our 6th - 8th graders in an effort to help them feel supported and empowered to stand up to bullies and to know how to ask for help when they are being bullied. Williamsburg has been proud to offer the TAB program for over 10 years.
